What We Believe

As Lutherans, we know that God loves us. We don’t have to earn God’s love by doing special services or giving money. God’s love is freely given to you and to me. It is that love that sets us free from our sin and brokenness so that we have the opportunity to share that love with our neighbors and friends. We, as a church, want to witness to the love of God so we try to be as loving and gracious as he was to us.

Our Vision

Continuing to create opportunities for us and others to embrace and share the love of God through Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

Sharing spiritual connections with Jesus Christ and with one another.

Our Welcome Statement

All are welcome, recognizing the image of God in all ages, races, abilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

Our Core Values
  • Community: We value the diversity of a group to provide various experiences, education, and talents that inform each of us about the presence of God in our midst.

  • Worship: We value the time we come together to pray and sing and share our faith. We find spiritual grounding in community worship. We find that our worship experiences should be a sacred space, a place where we can connect with each other and with Our Lord.

  • Kindness: We value selflessness and kindness to others in all cases. We are taught by Jesus that kindness should be the method to engage all people that walk our earthly path. We practice kindness in our church and in our daily lives.

  • Living our Faith: Faith is not something that we have and hold. It is something that we live and share, every moment of our days. We value the expressions of faith in all aspects of our daily lives.

  • Service to Local Community: We value Faith in Action by reaching out to share our gifts with the people around us. We want Christians and non-Christians alike to see our Lord active in our lives through our service to others.
